Ventura Joins Sizemore In Cast Of The Drunk

FIRST PUBLISHED: July 30, 2011 3:46 PM EDT TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura will portray the governor of Indiana in the movie The Drunk, now filming in Terre Haute. The former wrestler and occasional actor joins veteran actor Tom Sizemore in the cast. Terre Haute natives William Tanoos and Paul Fleschner of Tanoos Fleschner Productions wrote the film in which Tanoos stars as the fictitious grandson of 20th century labor leader Eugene Debs. His character is running for governor of Indiana, and Fleschner plays his attorney and campaign manager. Sizemore portrays a corrupt prosecutor also running for the Democratic nomination. Fleschner tells the Terre Haute Tribune-Star that Ventura agreed to join the cast after about a month of talks. Spike Lee is officially directing the Oldboy remake

_*Malcolm X*_ *director Spike Lee has officially signed on to helm the
English language remake of South Korean thriller _Oldboy_.*

The confirmation that Lee will direct comes on the back of the
announcement that the director is currently filming _Do The Right
Thing_ sequel _Red Hook Summer_.

“It’s a great honour to put this special project into the
hands of such a gifted writer and iconic director,” says
_Oldboy_ executive producer Nathan Kahane.

The original 2003 _Oldboy_ was directed by Chan-wook Park, and
followed a man who's imprisoned for 15 years. When he's inexplicably
released, he must find out the reason for his incarceration.

Will Smith has long been associated with the remake, though a lead man
has yet to be officially cast in the remake.

Still, with Lee at the helm, our interest in the film has tripled.
It’ll be interesting to see if he can make his _Oldboy_ into
more than just another remake.

Trying to find the name of this movie?

There is something I remember (not sure if it's a movie or a TV show
episode) that I saw in the 80's on TV. It was from the 50's or 60's,
and all I remember is one particular clip (that weirded me out,
probably because I was a kid), that had a blond woman running down the
street in a panicked state, looking up and around trying to find the
source of a voice that appeared to be coming over a loudspeaker that
she couldn't find. The was a man's voice and very condescending or
taunting, and seemed to have a Middle Eastern or Russian accent. I
can't remember what he was saying other than calling her by the name
"Mrs Creston" or "Preston". In recalling what the woman looked like,
she seems to look similar to Tippi Hedren. It might have been a
Hitchcock movie or something like one.
I was thinking Outer Limits as well. I will have to check out the
lists of all episodes. If anyone else knows let me know.

Ok so I LOVE Eminem and I've seen 8 Mile tons of times, it's my
favorite movie. One part, however, has always confused me, I don't
understand the diss where Lotto says "I feel bad that I gotta murder
that dude from Leave it to Beaver" and I also don't understand Em's
comeback where he says "Ward, I think you were a little hard on the
beaver, so was Eddie Hazcle, Wally, and Ms Cleaver" Can you explain
this?
