'King' grows empire

BERLIN -- German funnel Vox and France's M6 have acquired Canadian cop series "King." The skein, which opened this season on Canadian cable funnel Showcase, stars Amy Cost-Francis like a veteran officer who will get marketed to mind Toronto's Major Crimes Task Pressure after her predecessor includes a breakdown on tv.
